Clockwork Books is licensed as a practice under the membership body Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).  I am also a certified member of the ICB.

I use the cloud accounting packages Quickbooks Online and am a Silver Certified ProAdvisor.  If you are considering Quickbooks I can advise which version would best suit you.

Where expedient I may set up an app to help streamline the processing of expenses and bills into the accounting application.

As it always difficult to assess what the amount of work will be especially when there is a backlog of work or setup needed  I charge an hourly fee when I first take on a client. Each month I attach to the invoice a breakdown of how my time was spent.   Once the books are up-to-date and a working pattern established  I can then, with your agreement, charge a monthly fees based on what is required, volume of transactions and complexity of work so spreading  the costs across the year.  This monthly fee is monitored every quarter or sometimes annually to assess whether there has been a change in either requirements or volume up or down.

Definitely. My clients range from sole traders and one man/woman limited companies to limited companies with a number of employees.    The majority are within four miles distance of Wandsworth Common.

We first meet physically or sometimes virtually to discuss your bookkeeping needs.  This one hour meeting is free of charge. Once the paper work is complete we can decide between us the best way to provide the information that I need.   This might include: sharing of files; setup of new logins; adding technology where cost effective and practical; and review of document flow to improve where practical.

I normally work from home and like to meet or speak by phone at a frequency which works for both of us.
